Home Information Pack (HIP’s)

From December 2007 every home bought and sold in England and Wales must have a HIP, a document of information which will be available to purchasers to view. This change is designed make the home moving process more transparent, more efficient and more certain. Team has been at the forefront of these changes and are one of the first organisations in the country to ensure that the new processes is implemented as quickly and easily as possible - and with no upfront cost to the seller.

What will the Pack contain?

All legal documentation necessary to prove your ownership.
Home Energy Report (HER) which will give details on how energy efficient a property is.
Local and other searches relating to your property.
An optional report on the condition of your property prepared by a Home Inspector in accordance with The Housing Act of 2004 detailing the physical condition of the property.
