Lessons & Carols by Candlelight
Sunday 22nd December 4.40pm and 6.30pm.
St Mary’s Church, East Barnet.
A traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols by candlelight with Choirs and a chamber orchestra in the 1000-year-old setting of St Mary’s Church. Free entry plus mulled wine and mince pies served afterwards. Please arrive early as this a very popular service.
There are two services one at 4.30 and one at 6.30pm.
Carols in the Prince of Wales Pub East Barnet.
Thursday 19th December 8pm.
Carols and Christmas songs sing-a-long all are welcome.
Advent Carols Service
Sunday 21st December 6.30pm.
Readings and Carols with choirs and brass band in the ancient setting of St Mary’s Church. All welcome. Free entry.
Children’s Nativity Play
Christmas Eve 4pm.
The children of St Mary’s and Brookside churches give their rendition of the first Christmas. This is a popular service so please arrive early and where you can use public transport. Donations will be welcomed.
Midnight Mass St Mary’s Church
Christmas Eve 11.30pm
Traditional service to welcome in Christmas Day at Midnight with ancient carols to enrich our worship on this silent, holy night.
