The Stables Horse Activity Centre in Barnet
News Flash - The Stable Horse Activity Centre have a table at the East Barnet Festival on 7th/8th July. This amazing charity was founded in 1995 by William Marshall who had a vision of running a fully integrated riding centre for all abilities, irrespective of their emotional or physical needs.
Starting with 2 horses and a field, they have now grown to 22 horses and fully functioning stables with 4 paddocks and brand new arena.
They are a registered charity and don’t receive any government funding, relying on income from lessons and fund raising activities in order to keep the project running.
They provide an environment where people with learning disabilities can spend time caring for horses and thereby gaining confidence from the special interactions, for example – watering, feeding and mucking out with the support of our team.
Please come along and support them at the East Barnet Festival, still Free Entry at Oak Hill Park, East Barnet.
