The new café is run by brothers Sam and Dan Lassman
On the menu are sandwiches and toasties from £3 made from a choice of four types of bread. Salad of the day with sourdough toast (£5) and smashed avocado on sourdough toast (£4.50) can come with smoked salmon, grilled halloumi or buffalo mozzarella for an extra £2.50. Kids dishes start at £2.80 for beans on toast. Pastries are from £1.20 and smoothies are from £3.50. A lot of the café’s inspiration comes the States – good fresh food, great coffee, sourdough breads and a lot of avocado!
The Wilds is so enthusiastically run and focuses on carefully-sourced, seasonal ingredients and is highly recommended, making a trip to Barnet worthwhile.
